The Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship is made for those who hold a law degree or equivalent qualifications, this 30-month solicitor apprenticeship has been created to prepare apprentices for the Solicitors Qualifying Exams and gain a full solicitor qualification.

Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship Key Features:

 

Structure: You will spend 80% of your time on the job working, 20% off the job training and study.

Curriculum: Comprehensive legal foundation topics and skill modules available online.

Support: Online one-on-one meetings with your Progress Tutor to monitor your progress and develop a portfolio.

Feedback: Receive detailed comments on your weekly assignments from your tutor.

Exam Preparation: Prepares students for both Parts 1 and 2 of the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE).

Qualification: Become a qualified solicitor.

Career Readiness: This apprenticeship equips students with the necessary skills and knowledge for their first day as a qualified solicitor.

End Point Assessment: Take Your SQE 2 Exam

To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you must comply with these following requirements.

You need a 2.2 or higher on a UK law bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.

You must be currently employed and on the pay roll of a legal organisation.

You must have GCSE English and Maths at Level C/4 or above, or an equivalent qualification. If you did not complete GCSE Maths and English or do not have the required scores, you may need to take Functional Skills Maths and English exams. For suitable equivalent qualifications, please contact us.

Please note, you must be eligible to live and work in the UK permanently, as apprentices are considered employees.

You must not be currently enrolled onto another government funded apprenticeship.

The apprenticeship is provided at no cost to learners. For the legal organisation who will be supporting you through this apprenticeship, it is 95% government-funded, and in some cases, it can be 100% funded depending on certain eligibility criteria.

Solicitor Apprenticeship

The Solicitor Apprenticeship is made for school leavers who hold a law A-Level or equivalent qualifications, this solicitor apprenticeship has been created to prepare apprentices for the Solicitors Qualifying Exams and gain a full solicitor qualification.

Solicitor Apprenticeship Key Features:

 

Duration: 6 years of training, this equivalents to the same amount of time that it would take to qualify via the traditional route (e.g university, training contract, solicitor exams)

Structure: This will consist of 80% on-the-job working and 20% off-the-job education and training.

Curriculum: Access legal foundation topics and skill modules online.

Support: Regular one-on-one meetings with your progress tutor to support your development and help you create a work-based portfolio.

Feedback: Submit weekly assignments and receive detailed feedback from your progress tutor.

Exam Preparation: Comprehensive preparation for Parts 1 and 2 of the new Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE).

The Paralegal Apprenticeship is made for those who hold GCSE’s and are looking to start their legal career. This apprenticeship has been created to provide apprentices with the necessary legal skills and become a qualified paralegal.

This program offers top-tier training that integrates both academic knowledge and practical skills essential for working in the legal field.

Upon completing this course, candidates will be awarded a Level 3 in Paralegal training, equivalent to an A-level in Law. This qualification is highly regarded by law firm employers, as it allows those with the Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law and Practice to charge fee-earning at grade D of the Guideline Hourly Rates.
