This 31-month Level 7 Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship combines academic study with practical legal training, developing the skills and behaviours required in today’s legal profession as a solicitor.
You’ll gain confidence working to tight deadlines, handling sensitive information, drafting legal documents, conducting research, and managing cases from start to finish. Throughout this programme you’ll be provided SQE preparation and at the end of the programme, you’ll take the SQE exams. Our Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship programme runs over 31 months, followed by a dedicated 4-month End-Point Assessment (EPA) period, bringing the total duration to 35 months.

The Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship is fully funded through the Apprenticeship Levy, meaning eligible employers can cover the full cost of the programme, up to £27,000, using their levy contributions.
For non-levy paying employers or those with insufficient levy funds, the government will fund 95% of the programme cost, with the employer contributing just 5%.
This funding model makes it a highly cost-effective route to solicitor qualification for both apprentices and employers, with no student loan or tuition fee debt for the learner.
